SBB, Zenhäusern and Batmaid take 1st prize in their categories at the Swiss Digital HR Awards ceremony
The jury for the Prix RH numérique Suisse 2020, chaired by Yann-Eric Dizerens and made up of representatives from the HR function and the world of innovation, honored two players who are convinced of the digital transformation of their profession: Philippe Blache, HR Manager at Zenhäusern (1st prize SME), and Leila Claivaz and Lorena Varona, from SBB - CFF - FFS, for their innovative projects. During the ceremony, the public voted for Batmaid as its favorite.
After months of preparation, innovation workshops and hours of training to present their projects to the jury, the candidates unveiled the results of their work on Thursday November 19. Among the participants, 7 nominees competed in two categories "SMEs with -400 employees" and "Companies with +400 employees": Academic Work, Zenhäusern, Batmaid and Loyco for the SMEs and SBB - CFF - FFS, Société Générale and Swissquote for the +400. "The digital transformation of our business models and HR is a topical reality that has only accelerated in recent months: digitizing the practices of the profession is essential to gain agility, create added value for us but also for all our employees and for our organizations! Above all, this Digital HR Award is a reward for the HR teams who are doing a remarkable job of acculturating organizations to improve working conditions on a daily basis. For this first edition in 2020, the role of HR in the digital transition of companies is a key theme," says Laetitia Kulak, President of the Prix RH Numérique Suisse.
The jury chose projects that prove that digital transformation and HR innovation are accessible to all.
The Jury's choice fell on Zenhaüsern (1st prize SME), thanks to a project to fully digitalize its recruitment process, led by their HR Manager, Philippe Blache. Olivier Sandoz, Director of the Fédération Romande des Entreprises (FER), presented the award, and commented : "The jury's choice of this family-run business from the Valais region speaks volumes, because what Zenhäusern has achieved in such a short space of time, from an HR point of view, is an inspiration to all SMEs that have not yet been able to grasp the importance of digital transformation."
In the "Companies +400" category, the jury chose to reward SBB - CFF - FFS for an initiative led by Leila Claivaz, head of talent acquisition & Lorena Varona, Hiring Partner, who shared their innovative approach to recruitment within a holocratic structure. " SBB succeeded in thinking outside the box by adopting a bold organizational configuration in a public environment: the jury felt that their determination deserved this award, even if the choice was difficult," confirms Yann-Eric Dizerens, Chairman of the Jury.
During the evening, the stakes were also high for the candidates, who had to win over the hearts of the public and gain recognition from their peers. Batmaid won over the 150 or so HR professionals who tuned in to watch the awards ceremony live from a distance. " HR Valais is proud to reward this innovative company, whose pitch won over a very wide audience," said Ludovic Bruchez, President of HR Valais, who presented the prize to the winner.
The awards ceremony was also punctuated by a speech from Sébastien Kulling, Director of digitalswitzerland in French-speaking Switzerland. He reminded the audience that digital transformation, for both public and private organizations, was first and foremost a social revolution, a profound evolution of professions.
