& intelligent data collection: AI in action
Pulse Partners is a Valais technology company based in Martigny, specializing in the development of artificial intelligence solutions for the automated collection and analysis of qualitative data.
Its flagship product, Smartinterview, is designed to help Swiss SMEs accelerate their digital transformation by facilitating in-depth market research.
By replacing traditional survey methods with an automated, intelligent approach, Pulse Partners enables companies to better understand their customers' needs and make informed strategic decisions.
Turn your surveys into interactive & enriching experiences with AI
The SmartInterview solution works in 3 main stages.
First, the user selects his or her research objective from among the hundreds of models available on the platform. Next, they fine-tune the collection of quantitative and qualitative data according to this objective. Finally, data analysis is automated, enabling clear insights to be extracted from the results.
The tool relies in particular on the AI function known as "speech to text", which enables oral elements to be recorded and transcribed. This feature is particularly useful for surveys and qualitative studies, to maximize respondent engagement. The oral aspect, the possibility for the respondent to express him/herself orally, not only frees up the potential for response, but also introduces a cognitive bias that is fundamental to eliciting more thoughtful and sincere responses.
In addition to its functionality for creating AI-assisted voice questions, Smartinterview has many other assets, including:
- advanced translation in over 99 languages, including dialects such as Swiss German
- personalize questions according to answers
- automated data collection based on pre-defined categorization elements
- the ability to query your results in natural language to refine your reporting

Market analysis, a strategic lever still under-exploited by Swiss SMEs
A study conducted by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) reveals that 52% of Swiss SMEs carry out a market analysis at least once a year, while around 23% never do.
On the one hand, a majority of SMEs have already integrated market analysis into their strategic processes - an extremely positive development. For these companies, digital transformation represents a major opportunity to strengthen, automate and improve their performance, thanks to tools such as Smartinterview. These solutions enable maximum value to be extracted from the data collected, with faster, deeper and more accessible analyses.
On the other hand, the 48% of SMEs that rely little or not at all on market research expose themselves to a real strategic risk: that of missing out on key information on customer expectations, developments in their sector or weak market signals. For them too, easy-to-access digital tools like Smartinterview represent a gateway to a better understanding of their environment, without requiring significant in-house resources or advanced skills.
So, whether we're talking about consolidation or initiation, the digitization of market research enables all SMEs - whatever their level of maturity - to transform their data into concrete levers for growth and competitiveness.
Dany Cerone's recent #TechTalk interview, in which he shared his interpretation of a recent B2B study, focused on the importance of understanding your market and using factual elements to define your sales strategy and marketing approach:
"(...) it's a study that talks about the statistics that companies in the B2B field have reported. To find out how their sales are going, how well they're doing on the market... To draw out trends. And here we see that the trend is downwards, a little tighter at all levels. In other words, there are fewer opportunities on the market for companies. They may have received fewer proposals, fewer offers... Deals take longer to conclude, so it's more tedious too. And the contracts are smaller. So it clearly means that the markets are under more pressure, and as a result it's more competitive, it's more competitive and it's harder. "

So if you've ever asked yourself∙e of these questions, among others:
- What are my customers' real needs and expectations today?
- How can I prioritize my product or service development priorities?
- Why don't certain offers or marketing campaigns work as expected?
