After intelligent parking, robots, watchmaking, perfumes, business models, training, industrial design, agri-food and virtual technologies, the show turns its attention to the aeronautical industry. 80% of everything that flies in the world has aeronautical parts from Geneva. From engines to gas turbines and on-board electronics, Geneva is home to some of the jewels of the aerospace industry.
Discover the Niklaus, Mercury Systems and Jean Gallay companies, who excel in their fields. These three companies are also members of the GAIN aeronautics group, which gives them greater visibility and a foothold in these markets.
On the set, Nicolas Lavarini, Director of Jean Gallay, talks about the major challenges facing Geneva's aerospace industry.
At the same time, the "Industrie-Genève" campaign reveals a dynamic industry that is shaping tomorrow's world.
Running alongside the show is the "Industrie-Genève" communications campaign, launched in 2017. Bringing together all the players in the sector, this campaign aims to introduce young people and the general public to a dynamic industry that is shaping the world of tomorrow. Its aim is also to promote training courses, centers of excellence and the many future opportunities offered by industry.
At the heart of the campaign, the industrie-geneve.ch website serves as an information platform about industry and as a showcase for innovation in Geneva. A series of exclusive in-company events is also planned, to bridge the gap between the digital world and the reality on the ground.
The "Industrie-Genève" campaign is the result of fruitful cooperation between all players in the sector: the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the Union Industrielle Genevoise (UIG), the Office de promotion des Industries et des Technologies (OPI), the Fondation pour les Terrains Industriels (FTI), the Direction générale du développement économique, de la recherche et de l'innovation (DG DERI - State of Geneva), HEPIA, SIG and UNIGE.
