What digital legacy for Valais SMEs after Covid-19?

The event is over

Roundtable discussion moderated by Aline Isoz, a specialist in digital transition.

The coronavirus crisis has shaken up the practices of many SMEs, in Valais as elsewhere. Many of them invested in digitalization to adapt to the semi-confinement imposed for several weeks. Now that the majority of businesses have reopened, and with the fear of a second wave coming, it's time to ask whether, with hindsight, these investments were judicious and, above all, whether they will leave a useful legacy within companies.

  • What role did digital technology play in the Valais SMEs during the crisis and this spring's semi-confinement?
  • How can we ensure the long-term viability of our digital investments?
  • What are the ways in which we can anchor the digitalization constraint and transform it into a real opportunity for SMEs?

To answer these questions and provide practical, concrete advice, InnoVibes will for the first time welcome three entrepreneurs, from different regions and fields, to discuss them:

  • Massimo Nobile, Director of Swiss Biotech Center (Monthey), a young SME active in biotechnologies
  • Bertrand Fournier, Director of Silicom Group (Sion), one of Valais' leading IT companies
  • Gilles Fiorio, Director of Synchrotech (Martigny), a consulting firm specializing in data processing.

This interactive digital meeting will take place via Microsoft Teams. Participants will be able to ask questions via chat. Participation is free, but registration is compulsory.
