Swiss Tech Convention Center - Lausanne
On November 12, 2026, Lausanne will host Bâtigital 2026, the conference organized by Bauen digital Schweiz / buildingSMART Switzerland dedicated to the digital transformation of the construction and real estate sectors. This year’s event will bring together project owners, contractors, construction specialists, and innovators to explore how data, digital methods, and new forms of collaboration can help advance the design, construction, and operation of buildings.
Bâtigital 2026 will address the digital transformation of the construction industry through various complementary stages: driving change at the organizational level, structuring the information needed for projects, connecting stakeholders and their data, and then leveraging that data to create new applications and value. This approach goes beyond the mere use of BIM to take a broader look at how companies can organize their processes and facilitate the flow of information throughout a structure’s lifecycle.
Among the program's main priorities and initiatives are:
For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in French-speaking Switzerland operating in the construction, architecture, engineering, and real estate sectors, Bâtigital enables them to integrate digital tools into a broader perspective on the evolution of their industries and processes. Beyond BIM, the challenge lies in better understanding how to structure and share information, improve interoperability among the various stakeholders in a project, and transform the data generated throughout a structure’s lifecycle into truly actionable resources. Feedback from project owners, contractors, and technology providers will also help participants compare best practices and identify concrete steps to advance their own digital transformation.
