Digital professions for all
Fight stereotypes - Stop gendered professions - No to bias in career guidance
Digital professions and the diversity of their applications are still too little known, and can lead to a gendered distribution of career choices.
CSEM and SATW are organizing this event as part of the Swiss Digital Days for people involved in the guidance and education of young people, to exchange ideas on digital professions. The aim is to open up avenues of reflection on the development of innovative and ambitious ideas, together, to transform the world of tomorrow.
The round-table discussion will focus on the following topics:
- What will tomorrow's digital jobs be like?
- What skills are expected in the job market of the future?
- Why are tech and engineering professions so attractive?
- Diversity and inclusion: what role for digital today?
- How can we deconstruct the stereotypes associated with the image of these fields and attract a diverse public to them?
Together, let's encourage our young people to try their hand at digital disciplines!
This round table is aimed in particular at teachers, those involved in career guidance, parents, project leaders in the fields of mathematics, IT and science, and anyone committed to supporting young people, girls and boys alike, in their career choices, and to deconstructing the prejudices still too often associated with digital professions.
Joining us for this discussion are Alexandre Pauchard, CSEM General Manager, Véronique Leresche-Roy, CSEM Human Resources Director, Christophe Wagnière, Director of Ecole 42, Cynthia Colliard, SIG, Fabienne Marquis Weible, member of the SATW Executive Committee, Albin Baptista, President of ICT Formation professionnelle de Suisse occidentale, Patricia Egger, Security risk & governance manager, and Sylvie Villa, founder of LYVA.
Join these exciting discussions on the opportunities and potential of digital professions to build a fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable future.
This discussion evening will be followed by an aperitif, health conditions permitting and taking into account the measures in progress at the time.
