Silicon Valais 2026
On September 11, 2026, the Bellevue Campus of HES-SO Valais-Wallis in Sierre will host a new edition of Silicon Valais, the annual IT event in Valais. Organized by the Business Informatics program at HES-SO Valais-Wallis, the event will bring together students, companies, startups, faculty, alumni, and digital professionals around a shared goal: to showcase talent, foster connections between academia and industry, and highlight the innovations shaping the regional technology ecosystem.
Talent, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the Heart of the Valais Digital Ecosystem
Silicon Valais is, above all, a meeting place for the academic and business worlds. The evening will feature presentations of the bachelor’s theses by computer science students, the graduation ceremony for the CAS in Cybersecurity program, the presentation of the Valais Cybersecurity Award, and the ICT Valais-Wallis Awards, which recognize the top apprentices in computer science and media technology. In addition to these highlights, there will be conferences, technology demonstrations, and numerous networking opportunities among companies, startups, students, and alumni of the Business Informatics program.
