Industrial ecology - 25th issue of #LeMondeDeDemain on Léman Bleu
A magazine dedicated to innovation in Geneva's industry
The " World of Tomorrow " series takes viewers to the heart of industrial and technological companies, to discover the know-how, diversity of professions and talents of companies at the cutting edge of their sector and leaders in their field.
Geneva's industry, a key sector in the canton's economic dynamism, takes center stage in this magazine broadcast on Léman Bleu, hosted by Delphine Seitiée, General Secretary of alp ict and produced by Industrie-Genève.
The idea is to reveal a hard-hitting, topical subject in each program. Innovations and projects often unknown to the public are revealed in an educational and accessible way.
Replay of the program on industrial ecology
What is industrial ecology and how is it applied? What results have been achieved to date?
The 25th #LeMondeDeDemain program introduces you to Groupe SERBECO - a BCorp-certified group whose intelligent circularity saves the equivalent of 4,500 tonnes of CO2 per year (reference 2018). As well as Implenia, which recycles concrete waste from Geneva-based Prelco at the SRREC site.
On the set, Guillaume Massard, Managing Director of the FTI - Fondation pour les terrains industriels de Genève, talks to us about the concept of industrial ecology and the opportunities for Geneva companies.
At the same time, the "Industrie-Genève" campaign reveals a dynamic industry that is shaping tomorrow's world.
Running alongside the show is the "Industrie-Genève" communications campaign, launched in 2017. Bringing together all the players in the sector, this campaign aims to introduce young people and the general public to a dynamic industry that is shaping the world of tomorrow. Its aim is also to promote training courses, centers of excellence and the many future opportunities offered by industry.
At the heart of the campaign, the industrie-geneve.ch website serves as an information platform about industry and as a showcase for innovation in Geneva. A series of exclusive in-company events is also planned, to bridge the gap between the digital world and the reality on the ground.
The "Industrie-Genève" campaign is the result of fruitful cooperation between all players in the sector: theOffice de promotion des Industries et des Technologies (OPI), the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the Fondation pour les Terrains Industriels (FTI), theUnion Industrielle Genevoise (UIG), the Direction générale du développement économique, de la recherche et de l'innovation (DG DERI - Etat de Genève), alp ict and PULSE.
