A magazine dedicated to innovation in Geneva's industry
The " World of Tomorrow " series takes viewers to the heart of industrial and technological companies, to discover the know-how, diversity of professions and talents of companies at the cutting edge of their sector and leaders in their field.
Geneva's industry, a key sector for the canton's economic dynamism, takes center stage in this magazine broadcast on Léman Bleu, hosted by Delphine Seitiée, General Secretary of Alp ICT and produced by Industrie-Genève.
The idea is to reveal a hard-hitting, topical subject in each program. Innovations and projects often unknown to the public are revealed in an educational and accessible way.
Replay of the show on the last mile
#LeMondDeDemain takes you on a journey to meet the people who work every day to make urban logistics and deliveries more sustainable.
The last mile: the shortest stage, but also the most costly. Delivering a parcel in an urban environment represents 30 to 40% of the total cost of the logistics chain, and is responsible for 25% of greenhouse gas emissions. Geneva-based companies are investing in these economic, logistical and environmental challenges to limit their impact and provide more sustainable solutions.
How are the transport and logistics sectors innovating, and to what ends? Meet easyShipping4U, a unique and innovative web-based solution, and Miloo, a specialist in electric mobility. On the set: Denis Berdoz, General Manager of TPG (Geneva's public transport company).
At the same time, the "Industrie-Genève" campaign reveals a dynamic industry that is shaping tomorrow's world.
Running alongside the show is the "Industrie-Genève" communications campaign, launched in 2017. Bringing together all the players in the sector, this campaign aims to introduce young people and the general public to a dynamic industry that is shaping the world of tomorrow. Its aim is also to promote training courses, centers of excellence and the many future opportunities offered by industry.
At the heart of the campaign, the industrie-geneve.ch website serves as an information platform about industry and as a showcase for innovation in Geneva. A series of exclusive in-company events is also planned, to bridge the gap between the digital world and the reality on the ground.
The "Industrie-Genève" campaign is the result of fruitful cooperation between all players in the sector: theOffice de promotion des Industries et des Technologies (OPI), the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the Fondation pour les Terrains Industriels (FTI), theUnion Industrielle Genevoise (UIG), the Direction générale du développement économique, de la recherche et de l'innovation (DG DERI - Etat de Genève), Alp ICT and PULSE.
