How to innovate effectively in partnership with start-ups / established companies
A series of 4 workshops developed by the EPFL Innovation Park at FER Genève
More and more established companies are approaching start-ups in search of new technologies or innovative capabilities. Start-ups, on the other hand, often need large companies for access to markets, financing or simply as customers. However, partnerships between these two types of entity are not self-evident, for a number of reasons: differences in size, operating modes, product life cycles, decision-making processes, and so on.
The EPFL Innovation Park has developed a series of workshops aimed at presenting the challenges and different approaches to establishing a win-win partnership for both parties, through the real-life experiences of 14 managers in both types of company. Participants will be able to work on their own case studies: what type of partnership is most relevant to their company? how do they go about it? They will develop their action plan and benefit from the contributions of experts and other participants.
The next series of workshops will take place in early 2019 in Geneva in partnership with FER, on March 14, 21, 28 and April 4, in the afternoon. Participants who are unable to attend all 4 consecutive workshops may invite a colleague to attend, to ensure continuity and quality of exchanges with other participating companies.
