CHF 15,000 to finance your innovation project in collaboration with a higher education institution

As part of its mission to support Geneva-based companies, theOPI is launching a call for projects: a grant of up to CHF 15,000 can be obtained to finance your innovation project in collaboration with a university (University of Geneva, HES-SO Geneva).

How the grant is awarded

Who: companies (SMEs), UAS and university researchers.

What: collaborative project with a university or an implementation partner, as part of a technological or usage innovation approach, and the subsidy must be based on a PoC (Proof of Concept) study.

How: The OPI subsidy is used to finance all or part of the mandate with universities.

Partners: Pulse incubator (HES-SO Geneva), the Hub (Faculty of Science, University of Geneva), the Pôle d'innovation numérique (CUI, University of Geneva) and the LTA (Laboratoire de Technologie Avancée).

Submit your project by April 1, 2021

Process :

• Interview with OPI
• Determine the project's innovative foundations using an evaluation grid
• Evaluate the involvement of the customer
• Identify relevant partner(s)

Conditions:

• CHF 15,000 maximum
• A maximum of one subsidy per company every two years
• The subsidized study is a prerequisite for a larger-scale project

This call is open to all companies in the canton with fewer than 250 employees, and to researchers and associates of Geneva's universities.
