AI-based simulation software for district heating networks
The RWB Group has developed , a distance heating network simulation software package based on artificial intelligence: Eguzki is a simple algorithm that uses real or calculated data to simulate a branched distance heating network.
The results obtained can be used to :
- Optimize your network's operating parameters
- Identify weak points
- Identifying reserves
- Simulate extensions
- Optimize tube sizing
- Testing your network under extreme conditions
The software is designed to help you save on both network investment and operating costs.
With optimum use ofEguzki, it is possible to save 5 to 20% on the investment in remote pipes. In some cases, networks are oversized by 30 to 400% due to a lack of simulation.
In terms of distributed energy, the annual losses of a district heating system are in the order of 8 to 12%. The group believes it can reduce losses by 0.5 to 1 percentage point. By operating the district heating pumps at the right speed, it will also be possible to save electricity.
