The official launch of the Swiss movement for a circular economy in French-speaking Switzerland took place on August 30, 2019 in Lausanne. Alp ICT was there to interview the speakers, share TakeAways with you in video format below, and our Ecosytem Manager Delphine Seitiee moderated the roundtable discussion "Business Model and Circular Economy, Digitization". Staffan Ahlgren, Co-Founder and CEO of TRS (Tyre Recycling Solutions), explains how an SME can pivot towards the circular economy. It starts with thinking about your own product: how it can be recycled and reused in a cost-effective way. To achieve this, it's important to invest in the right technologies and the right people.

We also met François Pugliese, CEO & owner of Elite SA. He encourages entrepreneurs to be curious. In his view, it's important to look at what's being done in other industries, and see how you can apply these innovative technologies to your own.
