Support i4Challenge "New Ideas" winning projects
i4Challenge is an acceleration program for SMEs, start-ups and new projects set up by Basel Area Business & Innovation. The principle of an acceleration program is to coach and support entrepreneurs and start-ups in the deployment of their project, in order to achieve a commercially viable solution as quickly as possible, but also to avoid them falling into the pitfalls that can arise when setting up a new business. The i4Challenge program focuses on innovative solutions, new approaches and next-generation products or services for industrial transformation 4.0.
January 2021 saw the start of coaching for the winning projects in i4Challenge's "New Ideas" category, to be discovered below. Coaching is run from the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area in the Jura region, with support from the Promotion économique cantonale. A coach has been assigned to each project, and follow-up is ensured through weekly reviews. Because of the pandemic, this is done online. Numerous group courses are offered: how to present your project / fundraising / St. Galler Startup Navigator / human centric design / empowering people / business model.
One of the main objectives of the i4Challenge acceleration program is to encourage interaction between these innovative projects and the industrial fabric of the Jura region. Are you interested in a project, a technology or the idea of supporting a young entrepreneur? Don't hesitate to bring your know-how to the table, for example, by providing your technical expertise, putting them in touch with someone who can take the idea forward, or giving them the benefit of your experience when it comes to strategic thinking.
Basel Area will put you in touch with the project leaders on request. They will also be organizing an event at which they will present their projects. Come and get to know them and, why not, help create the companies of tomorrow!
