"Heritage & Tourism 2.0" 2023
Do you have an idea for promoting Valais' heritage? Do you have a technology that could highlight the richness of the canton's territory, buildings or traditions? Would you like to collaborate with creative teams or tourist destinations? Submit your heritage enhancement project before September 1, 2023, for a chance to win $15,000 to turn your concept into reality.
Innovative project to showcase Valais heritage
The aim of this call for projects is to support the creation of innovative solutions that will enhance Valais' cultural and/or built heritage through the marketing of new products or services. This can take the form of a new tourism, cultural and/or leisure offering.
The aim of the Heritage and Tourism call for projects is to:
- to serve a solution or application with a well-defined scope to start with, before it can ideally be extended and replicated throughout the canton, or even beyond.
- support the development of new solutions (the deployment of an existing product or service is not eligible)
- encourage collaboration between heritage specialists, creative and cultural industry professionals, tourism entrepreneurs and digital players
- help companies, start-ups, associations or freelancers involved in culture, heritage, tourism or digitalization.
Participation is open to organizations both inside and outside the Valais. All projects must ultimately serve to enhance the Valaisan heritage.
