SME 2025: call for projects

by Alp ICT

Innosuisse is launching a call for projects dedicated to Swiss SMEs, with the aim of strengthening their capacity for innovation in an uncertain economic climate. This exceptional measure is aimed at companies with less than 500 full-time equivalents (FTE), wishing to collaborate with research partners to develop high-impact technological projects.

A strategic opportunity to boost technological innovation in SMEs

In the face of geopolitical tensions, a strong Swiss franc and falling global demand, Innosuisse aims to provide targeted support for Swiss SMEs through collaborative technology transfer projects. The call covers a wide range of fields such as automation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, encouraging agile approaches and concrete short- to medium-term spin-offs.

The conditions for participation are deliberately relaxed: SMEs can submit a joint project with a recognized academic partner, while benefiting from a reduction, or even total elimination, of their own financial contribution to the project.

For SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland, this initiative represents a concrete opportunity to access the expertise of universities and research institutes, develop innovative solutions to current challenges, and considerably reduce the financial risk associated with innovation. It is also a lever for accelerating the time-to-market of new products or services, while consolidating their long-term competitiveness.
