The winner of the Prix Start-up du canton de Fribourg has invested his prize money in an Internet configuration tool.
Last autumn, PMF-System won the Canton of Fribourg's 2016-2017 Start-up Prize, worth 30,000 francs. This amount was invested in an online configurator, which is now in operation.
PMF-System's new online tool makes it possible to configure PMF furniture, workstations and exhibition stands on the computer in real time, according to your own preferences and wishes. Lino Peverada, founder and CEO of PMF-System: "With the new online configurator, it's child's play to design your PMF objects. The customer can immediately receive a quotation from PMF-System and a detailed drawing of the object by e-mail." According to Lino Peverada, seven PMF models are currently available for online configuration. New models will be added as they become available. According to Jean-Luc Mossier, Director of Economic Promotion and Vice-Chairman of the jury for the Prix à l'innovation du canton de Fribourg, it is in line with the organizers of the Prix à l'innovation that the money won is used for the development of the young company. "We are very pleased that PMF has invested this money in digitizing and automating its processes, in order to strengthen its market position."
Start-up PMFch SA, founded in 2013 and based at the Marly Innovation Center, won the Start-up Prize of the Canton of Fribourg on November 9, 2016. With PMF System's fast, simple and efficient assembly system anyone can make any object formed from a tubular structure made of standard profiles such as stainless steel, aluminum or steel. All you need is a standard inbus key to assemble the various components in the PMF range. The Prix à l'innovation, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, is organized by the Promotion économique du canton de Fribourg and the Banque Cantonale de Fribourg.
