CINÉFOROM: support for digital experiences
The Fondation romande pour le cinéma – Cinéforom, in partnership with the SSR, is offering a support program for digital experiences for the year 2026, with two application deadlines. This program is aimed at creators, producers, and companies based in French-speaking Switzerland who are developing innovative immersive, interactive, or digital works, whether in virtual, augmented, or mixed reality, interactive films, transmedia storytelling, or other forms of digital expression.

Innovation, interactivity, and storytelling: a lever for immersive creations in French-speaking Switzerland
Financial support is available at three distinct levels depending on the maturity of the project:
- Writing and research
- Prototyping
- Production
The amount of support is left to the discretion of the production company, within the limits set each year by Cinéforom's annual guidelines, namely:
- Writing and research = $25,000
- Prototyping = CHF 70,000
- Realization = $130,000
The selection process is based on several key criteria: artistic originality, innovative use of digital tools, potential for developing specific skills in the region, feasibility, and consistency of the production schedule.
For Swiss SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland that are active in digital creation, augmented reality, or audiovisual interactivity, this support is a strategic development tool. It not only reduces the cost of financing creative and technical projects, but also stimulates artistic and technological experimentation in a rapidly growing sector. The partnership and potential links with various professional platforms will also offer increased visibility and access to international markets.
