Innosuisse Call for Proposals: Innowwide
The European Eureka network, represented in Switzerland by Innosuisse, is launching a new call for projects as part of the Innowwide program, designed to support innovative SMEs and startups in their international expansion. With a lump-sum grant of 60,000 euros per project, this program funds six-month commercial feasibility studies conducted in collaboration with a local partner in the target country. The call is aimed in particular at Swiss companies wishing to assess the potential of their innovations in new markets in Africa, the Americas, Asia, or Oceania.

60,000 euros to explore new international markets
Combining commercial exploration, technology validation, and internationalization strategy, Innowwide enables companies to test their innovations against the realities of a foreign market before committing to larger investments. Projects may include assessing the technical feasibility of a product, process, or service; validating a business model; analyzing regulatory, financial, and cultural constraints; or identifying new opportunities for research and innovation. To be eligible, SMEs and startups must propose a project targeting a country located in one of the four covered regions and collaborate with an independent subcontractor based in that country, in order to benefit from local expertise and better understand market access conditions.
For technology-based SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland—particularly those active in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, software, the Internet of Things (IoT), or innovative industrial solutions—this program offers an opportunity to test whether their solutions meet the needs of an international clientele, identify necessary adjustments, and reduce the risks associated with business expansion. Beyond financial support, Innowwide thus offers a structured framework for transforming international ambitions into concrete projects by combining market knowledge, local expertise, and validation of commercial potential.
