Industrie 4.0 "The Shapers" Award Winners 2022

Innovators from French-speaking Switzerland receive awards

For the past 5 years, the Prix Industrie 4.0 "The Shapers" has been awarded to leading figures from industry in French-speaking Switzerland, in recognition of their contributions to the growth of innovation in the country. This year's winners are once again of the highest calibre.

The Prix Industrie 4.0 "The Shapers", created and awarded since 2018 by the Chambers Latines du Commerce et d'Industrie (CLCI) and the Think Tank Manufacture Thinking, highlights personalities from French-speaking Switzerland who contribute to the prosperity of Swiss industry.

Here are the winners of the 2022 edition:

  • André Borschberg, Sébastien Demont and Gregory Blatt, co-founders of H55 SA (VS) - Development of electric propulsion technologies for aviation.
  • Raphaël Broye, founder and CEO of Panatere SA (JU) - Development of "zero-carbon" steel using an industrial solar furnace.
  • Pierre Falbriard, R&D Manager at Louis Belet SA (JU) - Development of projects combining tooling, machining, AI and big data.
  • Ramzi Bouzerda, founder and CEO of Droople SA (VD) - Connected systems for controlling and saving water.
  • Javier Bello Ruiz and Robin Mange, co-founders ofImverse SA (GE) - Live hologram and real-time 3D graphics solutions for applications including social media, marketing and e-commerce, remote working and teleconferencing, using multi-camera systems for live volumetric video capture without the need for green screens or cloud services.
  • Germain Kolly, founder, and Dominique Kolly, director of G. Kolly SA (FR) - Innovative solution for connected waste management.
  • Christopher Bouzas, director and co-founder ofObjectis SA (VD) - Software solutions for Industry 4.0.
  • Rafic HANBALI, CEO of SwissINSO (FR) - High-efficiency colored glass for photovoltaic panels, offering great flexibility of use, particularly for covering building facades with solar panels.
  • Raja Yazigi and Philippe Koller, co-founders of Netsensing Technology Sàrl (NE) - Technology for real-time monitoring of vital signs by simultaneously processing data from multiple sensors to detect sleep apnea.
  • Inès Hamaguchi, enameller (NE) - Development of a haptic interface for handicrafts.
  • Cécile Münch-Alligné, HES professor and head of the "Hydroelectricity" research group at the HES SO Valais/Wallis (VS) - Digitization project and integration of machine learning tools to improve the performance of hydroelectric power plants, among other things.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Technopôle in Sierre, in the presence of, among others, Christophe Darbellay, Valais State Councillor for the Economy and Innovation. This event is by invitation only.
