HR TECH comes to Switzerland with "HR TECH DRINK

by Sandrine Barrucand

CyberTech, FinTech, RegTech, EdTech... and now HRTech, which is positioning itself in the Swiss landscape with HR TECH DRINK, the HR TECH and HR 4.0 rendez-vous in French-speaking Switzerland.

On Thursday, March 7, the first edition of HR TECH DRINK 2019 was held, which has become one of the must-attend events for activist and disruptive HR specialists in Switzerland! HR activist professionals gathered at the Swisscom Digital Lab in the heart of EPFL's Innovation Park, to enjoy a convivial moment with their colleagues, while discovering the disruptive HR technologies of today and tomorrow... The Swisscom Digital Lab, partner of this event, enabled participants to discover a place dedicated to collective intelligence and agility.

Laetitia Kulak, CEO of Global HR Talents and a convinced HR Activist, created this event in 2018 to bring Swiss HR closer to tech startups. The aim of this event is to connect the HR sphere to all HR Tech applications, to inject innovation and agility into their processes. For this first 2019 edition, a mix of 6 French and Swiss startups pitched live to present their agile platforms and solutions, dedicated to in-house HR professionals, HR project & development managers and recruiters: Hunteed, PeopleWeek, Hire & Keep, Skilz, arca24, cvcatcher.

For this first 2019 edition, Laetitia Kulak and Laura Christodoulidis, who has just joined the team as co-organizers, wanted to bring in a Keynote Speaker renowned in Swiss digital innovation to introduce the event. Yohann Perron (Alp ICT) came to present the topic of Blockchain to an audience of over 50 HR professionals, and demystify this technology that is still little-known in the Swiss HR world.

Once again, the HR TECH DRINK was a resounding success, with HR TECH startups offering innovative and disruptive solutions in line with the digital transformation of the HR function. There were no badges at this type of event, to enable everyone to exchange ideas in a convivial atmosphere, over a glass of wine offered by a Vaud winemaker. Given the success of this edition, the organizing team will repeat this futuristic HR journey in October 2019 with new startups and new themes.
