HUG Hackathon #9: innovating for the hospital of tomorrow (and beyond)
The Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) are organizing the ninth edition of their internal hackathon, entitled "Towards Tomorrow and Beyond," which will be held on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Geneva. This event, orchestrated by the HUG Innovation Center, invites employees from all professions to co-create innovative solutions to rethink practices, services, and everyday life at the hospital.

A marathon of innovation in the service of the healthcare system
The HUG Hackathon #9 is a 36-hour creative marathon during which multidisciplinary teams come together to imagine, design, and prototype concrete solutions to real challenges proposed by professionals from the institution. Unlike a simple technical competition, it is a space for collaborative experimentation where ideas from the field—whether administrative processes, patient journeys, digital tools, or organizational systems—are combined with an approach that is open to innovation.
