The Prix Industrie 4.0 - The Shapers, created in 2018 by the Manufacture Thinking Think Tank, of which alp ict is a member, associated with the Chambres Latines du Commerce et d'Industrie (CLCI), is rewarding eleven personalities from the French-speaking Swiss industrial scene for their achievements in shaping the future of Swiss industry, for the 4th year running.

Switzerland is a country of innovation, and behind its many projects and achievements lie just as many faces. From this multitude, eleven "Shapers" have been chosen to receive this year's award for their contribution to the industry.

The winners will receive their prizes in person at this invitation-only ceremony to be held in Biel in the brand new Switzerland Innovation Park building:

  • Dr. Nicola Tomatis, CEO of Bluebotics SA (VD): autonomous navigation for AGVs, forklifts and mobile robots.
  • Andrea De Luca, CEO of DM surfaces SA (JU/BE): at the cutting edge of laser technology for engraving, aesthetic texturing, functional structuring, cutting and micromachining.
  • Thierry Melly, Vice President, Wireless IC's and Systems at Semtech (NE): invention of the LoRa system, which interconnects IoT devices.
  • Loïc Baboulaz, co-founder and CTO of Artmyn (VD): 5D interactive imagery as a digital twin for works of art.
  • Kenneth Funes Mora, director and co-founder of Eyeware Tech SA (VS): eye-tracking devices and software for video-conferencing and video games, for example.
  • Thomas Estier, co-founder and CEO of Rovenso SA (FR): autonomous robot for safety and security surveillance of industrial sites.
  • Iris Desforges, CEO and co-founder of Forimtech SA (GE): advanced cancer localization with molecular imaging technology for precise, minimally invasive surgery.
  • Philippe Lambinet, CEO and co-founder of Cogito Instruments SA (GE): artificial intelligence electronic circuits for robots, vehicles, machines...
  • Nuria Pazos, professor at Haute École Arc (NE): coordination of the European BonsAPPs project to develop an artificial intelligence platform for SMEs.
