Lessons Learned to Accelerate Industrial Transformation

In light of the challenges posed by digitalization, artificial intelligence, and evolving skill sets, Jura 2026 will focus on concrete use cases and technologies that are directly applicable in industry. Following a panel discussion featuring representatives from Swissmem, HE-Arc Ingénierie, Humard Automation, and Composites Busch SA, participants will be able to choose from several workshops dedicated to the innovations that are transforming manufacturing companies today.

Among the workshops you can attend, you’ll have the opportunity to explore topics such as:

  • "AI in the Future of CAM," which will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming computer-aided manufacturing processes, featuring Cyrille Monnin, CEO and President of Productec, and Pascal Weber, co-founder and CEO of Manukai.
  • From a Fragmented Smart Industry to Unified Industrial Intelligence, which will explore new approaches to integrating industrial data into a coherent and intelligent system with Dr. Badre Belabbess, founder of Neodustria
  • Data Machine to Action: Turning Machine Data into Industrial Decisions, a session focused on leveraging production data to improve decision-making and industrial performance, featuring Marco Aloe, CEO of DGTIS, and Vincent Chenal, an EPF-trained microtechnology engineer at Willemin-Macodel.
  • "Robotic Touch: New Perspectives on Automation," which will showcase advances in collaborative robotics and tactile perception applied to industrial automation, featuring Claude Fahrni, head of the ES computer science program at CEJEF’s Technical Division; Barbara Horvath, CEO and co-founder of Inveel; and Charly Blanc, co-founder and CTO of Auto-mate Robotics.
  • Quantum Mechanics: Innovation and Key Technologies, which will explore the opportunities offered by quantum technologies for the precision manufacturing industry with David Trombert, Head of R&D at Tornos

For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in French-speaking Switzerland, Jura 2026 offers a unique opportunity to discover technological solutions that can be directly applied to their businesses, while networking with industry leaders, researchers, and startups developing the technologies of tomorrow. By combining artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics, robotics, and collaborative innovation, this event offers a practical overview of the tools that can effectively support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized businesses in Western Switzerland.
