At a time when technological and scientific innovation has become a key factor in competitiveness, HEIG-VD invites SMEs, large companies, institutions, and specialists to discover how applied research can respond to the current challenges facing the industrial, digital, and societal sectors.
During this event, several projects led by HEIG-VD institutes will be presented, including dynamic optimization of mechatronic systems, laser welding of medical components, resilience of electrical networks, and artificial intelligence models for the circularity of industrial brownfields.
A round table discussion on artificial intelligence as a competitive issue for SMEs will be at the heart of the agenda. Hosted in collaboration with Innovaud, it will bring together institutional and economic experts (including representatives from HEIG-VD, Loyco, Propulse Lab, and Exoscale) to discuss the integration of AI in small and medium-sized enterprises, its opportunities, risks, and strategies to remain innovative in a globalized market.
