To mark Data Protection Day, the University of Lausanne's Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration is organizing a public conference on January 28, 2025 at UNIL, Lausanne.
Freedom of choice in the digital age
The event will feature a series of speeches by experts on a variety of topics, including
- nLPD: feedback & outlook with Florence Henguely, Deputy Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner
- eID: electronic patient records and informational self-determination with Philippe Page, Humancolossus Foundation
- the conditions for ethically appropriate consent with Christine Clavien, Assistant Professor at the Institut d'Ethique Histoire Humanités (UNIGE)
- consent to the processing of medical data with Frederic Erard, Associate Professor at the FDCA (UNIL)
