Innovation: why and how can Switzerland do better?
Swiss Tech Talk in Fribourg, by Stéphane Cruchon.
About the talk
Switzerland tops the Global Innovation Index. Unemployment is at an all-time low, we're a wealthy country, and education is excellent. So, all is well?
For the past 4 years, I've been going into the heart of companies. The reality I see there is sometimes quite different, to say the least. Fears, frustrations, loss of meaning, lack of ambition or vision, burn-outs... I often hear: "You're lucky to be able to work the way you do."
Except that "luck" comes at a price. In recent years, I've made the choice to be an entrepreneur, to take (a lot of) risks. Not always easy in a context where everything pushes us back into our comfort zone, but oh so rewarding.
I'm looking forward to sharing this adventure with you and giving you a few tips on how to innovate better in the workplace.
