8th edition: Your data has value! Identify their potential and turn them into opportunities for your company.

The Digital Economy Forum is a platform for exchange and training for SMEs wishing to grasp the challenges and opportunities of the digital transition. The 2022 edition of this annual Forum will be dedicated to the valorization of data for SMEs.

In a changing economic, environmental and legal context, data represents real opportunities for companies. How valuable is it? What are the new business models based on data? What about data protection? How can data facilitate decision-making and generate business innovation?

These are just some of the issues that will be addressed, with the aim of facilitating and encouraging companies to take advantage of the levers offered by data. Concrete, easy-to-implement tools will be proposed, as well as case studies from which SMEs can draw inspiration.

The Forum is aimed primarily at company managers who want to make a concrete impact on their digital transition, and learn how to use data to develop and manage their business.

The morning will be divided into two parts: first a plenary lecture followed by a debate, then micro-training sessions in the form of practical workshops. It will close with a cocktail reception. The Forum will take place in person, at FER Genève. The plenary session will be broadcast live and recorded.

The event is organized by the Directorate General for Economic Development, Research and Innovation (DG DERI) in collaboration with FER Genève, the University of Geneva (UNIGE), the Geneva School of Management (HEG, HES-SO Genève), the Office for the Promotion of Industries and Technologies (OPI) and Alp ICT.
