September 22, 2026 - September 22, 2026
Swiss Digital Center - Sierre

On September 22, 2026, the Swiss Digital Center in Sierre will host the 12th edition of the Digital Series, a conference series organized by the Swiss Digital Center and The Ark Foundation in partnership with the Valais Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI). Focused on concrete examples of digital transformation, this new session will examine the journey of Salaisons d’Anniviers, which, together with the Valais-based company Atomity, has developed an autonomous store based on the Ceres24 solution.

Test, digitize, and refine a solution to best meet user needs

This new session of the Digital Series will show how Salaisons d’Anniviers and Atomity chose to develop an initial prototype with a controlled investment in order to quickly validate the concept under real-world conditions. Gradually enhanced through user feedback, the Ceres24 solution now allows customers to enter the store, make their purchases, and pay completely on their own, while meeting the company’s operational requirements.

This initiative will be presented from two perspectives: Méryl Genoud, director of Salaisons d’Anniviers, will discuss business needs, the challenges of modernization, and the lessons learned from this transformation, while Anthony Bernardo, founder of Atomity, will explain the technical choices and the evolution of the solution, from the first prototype to its operational deployment. The discussion, moderated by Bertrand Fournier, Digital Project Manager at The Ark Foundation, will highlight the benefits of an approach based on experimentation, continuous improvement, and adaptation to real-world use cases.

For small and medium-sized enterprises in French-speaking Switzerland, this conference will provide particularly inspiring insights into how to approach a digital transformation project. More than just a technological use case, it will demonstrate that a successful transformation depends above all on the ability to start with a specific need, quickly test an initial solution, and gradually adapt it based on real-world conditions.
