Understanding the current and future directions of VR/AR at the World VR Forum 2017
For its second edition, WVRF brought together more than 3,000 international participants from all over the world and brought together diverse Virtual Reality (VR) or Augmented Reality (AR) content in creative, technical and research fields. The event took place from May 11 to 14, 2017 in Crans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps.
The event is organized by the Swiss non-profit association World VR Forum (WVRF ), dedicated to theadvancement of the virtual, augmented and mixed reality industries. The Annual Summit aims to bring together new virtual and augmented reality projects from around the world to fulfill its mission of establishing VR as a true art form and raising public awareness.
Alp ICT was on hand to meet the selected projects, who were given the chance to present their work to investors and digitally in the WVRF virtual library. Among them were many outstanding Swiss talents:

- Hell-eluja, the asymmetrical scary game fromOniroforge
- Lambda Health Systemthe new therapist assistant for physical rehabilitation
- Wake Up and Dream, an exciting interactive virtual adventure from Dreamscape

As VR is one of the most disruptive media of this century, we listened to inspiring speakers and thought-provoking discussions from key players who are redefining the business as we know it.
