Call for entries: digital x outdoor hack

Would you like to revolutionize your favorite outdoor sport with digital solutions?

If your project is innovative and meets one of the major challenges facing the outdoor sports industry, this hackathon is for you!

Apply before January 29, 2021 to be among the project leaders selected for this unique event on March 24 and 25!

Come and challenge your idea by co-creating with multidisciplinary teams that will bring together professionals from major outdoor industry brands such as Odlo, Petzl, Salomon ... but also other enthusiasts, students, experts who will put all their skills and know-how (design, sport, IT development, marketing, ergonomics ...) at the service of open innovation!

Meeting the challenges of the outdoor sports industry

For 36 hours, entrepreneurs, students, researchers, employees of outdoor brands, and enthusiasts will design innovative digital projects to meet the 3 challenges expressed by recognized players in the outdoor industry: 

• Boosting sustainable innovation : development of collections, digitization of physical samples, co-design using data collected from users, carbon impact monitoring...
• Promoting sustainable practice: Gamification of practice, micro-adventures...
• Building an engaged community: Seniors, urbanites, women and millennials, generating emotions in a non-practical context, reasoned data management...

2 ways to collaborate

The Digital x Outdoor Hack (Dxo Hack) is open to all motivated people from Greater Geneva, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and beyond, of all ages and backgrounds: students, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts, experts, researchers, retirees...

The quality of the hackathon depends largely on the multidisciplinary nature of the teams involved.

Experts, students... meet on March 25 to collaborate with the selected project leaders, challenge them and put your skills at the service of innovation during the DXO.
