Improve your company's socio-environmental impact by taking part in the STI program

by Alp ICT

Alp ICT is pleased to contribute to the implementation of the Agenda 2030 and to collaborate in this perspective with the national program STI - Swiss Triple Impact. We have decided to join forces to support the Swiss economic fabric in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to build a more resilient future for all.

As a regional partner in this ambitious program, Alp ICT is also working on the co-creation of an IT sector sheet based on the experience of companies in our network. Please contact us if you would like to contribute.

A program to improve your company's contribution to the SDGs

The STI is an engagement program aimed at effectively moving the Swiss ecosystem towards a resilient economy. It was initiated by the non-profit organization B Lab Suisse. This program, which is unique at European level, helps Swiss companies to measure their contributions to the SDGs and thus identify the most relevant areas for improvement, while creating new business opportunities and stimulating innovation. The STI program creates momentum for engagement across the country, with an overall target of engaging over 3,000 companies from a wide range of sizes and sectors.

The STI program brings together a community of impact companies, creating an ecosystem of organizations committed to a sustainable future. During this 3-year program, participating companies benefit from B Lab tools, such as the SDG Action Manager, and receive tailored support through coaching, workshops, peer-to-peer learning networks and access to experts in the field. Companies will complete the STI journey by implementing their new action plans and submitting progress to be considered as potential members of the STI directory.

The aim of the STI program is to create the right conditions for far-reaching change, thereby helping to build a resilient, responsible and high-performance Swiss economy.

Participating companies follow a three-step process

  • Phase 1 - Introduction: Participation in the introductory workshop and creation of a working team within the company. Companies discover the benefits the SDGs can offer them and how to take advantage of new market opportunities. They fill in the baseline of the SDG Action Manager tool.
  • Phase 2 - Participant: Participation in prioritization workshop, implementation workshop and thematic workshops, drafting of an action plan including commitment to implement concrete measures to achieve improvement objectives.
  • Phase 3 - Member of the STI directory: Completion of the journey with the implementation of the action plan, and verification by B Lab Suisse of the actions carried out in order to integrate a national STI directory grouping together companies that have contributed through their commitments to achieving the SDGs.
