Alp ICT unveils a bright new graphic universe

As close as possible, as digital as necessary

Alp ICT, a platform for digital networking and promotion in Western Switzerland since 2008, is visually re-imagining itself to reflect its values and the evolution of its activities.

This community of enthusiasts believes that digital must serve people and our precious planet.

The emphasis is on sharing and human encounters. Alp ICT aims to get closer to SMEs to support them in their digital projects, through more small-scale collaborative events and its network of technology experts.

Add to this a major annual debate on a key theme. In 2021, it will be Green IT, because Alp ICT is convinced that it is vital to work towards a sustainable and responsible digital ecosystem.

Expertise and encounters at the heart of our three pillars of action

  • Inform: Alp ICT shares reliable information in the digital field, through a community of experts, and using attractive formats: video, illustration, infographics, podcast.
  • Connect: Alp ICT selects, supports and invites you to events that shape tomorrow's possibilities. Join the discussion, meet the key digital players and get inspired.
  • Stimulate: Alp ICT encourages SMEs to engage in collaborative projects to meet their digitalization challenges, thanks to innovation support schemes in Western Switzerland.

An intercantonal network to meet the digital needs of businesses

The Alp ICT team is supported by a committee of experts, consisting of a chairman and a representative for each canton, who meet several times a year. Entrepreneurs, industrialists, academics, these passionate people share their field experience to align Alp ICT's actions with the needs of the ecosystem.

As part of an intercantonal innovation support program for companies in Western Switzerland coordinated by ARI-SO (Association Réseau Innovation Suisse occidentale), Alp ICT can count on the support of its many partners:

  • Cantonal offices: OPI (Geneva), Innovaud (Vaud), Microcity (Neuchâtel), Promotion économique de Fribourg, CimArk (Valais), Promotion économique du Jura, be-advanced (Bern)
  • Coaching organizations: platinn and Alliance
  • Other sector promotion platforms: BioAlps (life sciences), CleantechAlps (clean technologies), Micronarc (micro- and nanotechnologies)

Alp ICT also benefits from privileged relationships with national instruments such as Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), Innosuisse, BaselArea, GGBa, SIP, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), Euresearch, Swissnex and others.
