A new in-company AI Master's degree to train your team

This university training program in artificial intelligence (AI) has been designed by UniDistance and the IDIAP research institute specializing in artificial intelligence. The program helps you define the AI fields relevant to your business, and provides you with the expertise you need to develop your strategy. At the same time, you invest in the development of your specialists.

Throughout the program, Idiap's experts in artificial intelligence and technology transfer will advise and support you. Their skills include data analysis, robotics, biometrics, machine learning, signal and image processing and computer vision, to name but a few.

Your employee acquires the theoretical knowledge and professional expertise to become your AI developer or manager. Supervised by experts, he/she will develop a step-by-step artificial intelligence project for your company that meets your needs.

The Master's in Artificial Intelligence is therefore a dual training program (60% study and 40% work for the company), providing you with the skills you need to turn artificial intelligence into a development opportunity.

Interested in the program? Here's how to get involved:

Define your interests in artificial intelligence (the team will be happy to help you)
Select a collaborator who will be in charge of managing your artificial intelligence needs and who meets the admission requirements (Bachelor of Science in computer science or equivalent).
Ask this person to enroll in the Master in Artificial Intelligence. He/she will need to demonstrate his/her link with your company/organization.
Financing training and project management costs

Course duration: 3 semesters (18 months)

Workload: approx. 45 hours per week (work + courses)

Training costs:

Study fee: CHF 2,000 / semester
Consulting and support costs: CHF 6,000 / semester
Minimum salary: CHF 36,000 / year

Confidentiality and intellectual property:

Specific agreements between institutions are signed to guarantee data protection and intellectual property.

The company's role:

The company appoints a responsible person to accompany the employee, to ensure that the IA strategy and the project developed correspond to the employee's vision and expectations.
