USA Innovation Discovery Mission: registration deadline September 13

Economic mission from November 10 to 16, 2019

In conjunction with S-GE, the canton of Vaud is organizing an economic mission focusing on digital innovation, more specifically in the fields of life sciences, industry 4.0 and information and communication technologies. This mission is dedicated to all managers of Vaud-based companies (start-ups, SMEs, multinationals) using new technologies in their day-to-day activities, or wishing to draw inspiration from innovative new business models.

Companies based outside the canton of Vaud can also register; however, priority will be given to Vaud-based entities, due to the limited number of places available. In order to diversify the composition of the group and reinforce the sharing of experiences, anyone representing an organization or institution active in innovation is also welcome.

Program

The aim of this mission is to offer a short, immersive stay, with a concentration of discoveries, through workshops, visits to emblematic companies and research institutes/centers, and meetings with key decision-makers in the field of innovation. The aim of the mission is to strengthen your innovation strategy, forge new business relationships across the Atlantic and meet American entrepreneurs, investors and partners.

Depending on the composition of the group, the program can be adapted. Participants with specific interests are invited to inform the organizers of their preferences, so that they can arrange potential business meetings (1:1 meetings).
