A day to better understand the digitalization of healthcare

by Alp ICT

The 6thedition of the Digital Health Connect conference (formerly e-Health Day) will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the TechnoArk in Sierre, with "Digital Health Revolutionaries" as its main theme. This event, organized by The Ark Foundation and Swiss Digital Health in partnership with HES-SO Valais/Wallis, has over time become a benchmark of its kind in the field of healthcare digitalization. Speakers from Canada, England, France and Switzerland will be presenting case studies. A few places are still available at www.digitalhealthconnect.ch

The must-attend event for healthcare and digital players

Since 2012, Digital Health Connect has been the must-attend event for healthcare and digital players looking to learn about the latest trends, exchange ideas and initiate partnerships with players and decision-makers in the field. Day after day, digital health is causing upheaval in the medical field. Each new breakthrough can even be described as a mini-revolution. These breakthroughs are sometimes brought about by players whose core business is outside the healthcare field. And behind every revolution, there are revolutionaries to change the world, thoughts and/or technologies.

An international outlook

For its 6th edition, Digital Health Connect will give a voice to digital health influencers from an international perspective. The conference will welcome Kathy Malas from the Centre hospitalier de Montréal, as well as Remi Gauchoux from Carenity, who will present this social network specially dedicated to the chronically ill. Vincent Zimmer from Ada Health (Germany) will demonstrate how it is possible to obtain a medical pre-diagnosis from a mobile application. Sarah Trenfield from FabRx will detail the possibilities of 3D printing for drugs and medical devices. In Switzerland, La Poste will detail its autonomous delivery concept (robots, drones, etc.). And that's just the tip of the iceberg, with no fewer than 17 speakers on the program!

The event, based above all on the discovery and sharing of concrete cases, enables everyone to get a clear idea of the issues and challenges in the field. The day is also intended to be a time for exchange and networking, so don't hesitate: register now!
