Swiss think tank visits Watson, IBM's intelligent computer
Discover the technologies and players shaping the fourth industrial revolution: big data, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence. This is the aim of the Manufacture Thinking think tank. Technology has entered consumers' lives in the form of cell phones and social networks. Now they're transforming industry too.
Since 2015, the Neuchâtel Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been bringing together a monthly group of leaders from Neuchâtel companies, training institutions and administrations. They reflect on the digital future of the Jura Arc economy.
With the support of Seco, financed by the new regional policy and the Loterie romande, the group is expanding to include members from the Vaud, Valais, Geneva and Fribourg regions. Alp ICT is pleased and honored to be part of it. We have already visited Tokyo, Hanover, Paris and Shanghai. From April 23 to 25, 2018, the group visited IBM's Munich headquarters, home to the Watson IoT Center, devoted to applications of the American firm's famous intelligent computer.
