Startup Board Academy: short, pragmatic and interactive training courses for directors

The Startup Board Academy program has been designed for business angels, investors, venture capitalists, startup founders, entrepreneurs, SME owners, experienced and future board members who want to become effective directors of a startup, growth-stage company or well-established SME. Founded in 2015, the Startup Board Academy has grown over the years and now boasts over 1,000 alumni across Switzerland.

The program is delivered both online and face-to-face, in French or English, over 4 afternoons of fully interactive and engaging sessions. Face-to-face training programs are organized in Lausanne(EPFL Innovation Park), Geneva(Campus Biotech, FER), Fribourg(Marly Innovation Center; blueFactory), Bern and Zurich.

The Startup program is based on 4 afternoons of interactive sessions.

The programs are led by experienced board members with extensive hands-on board experience in a wide variety of startups and SMEs. Participants gain valuable insights from these seasoned trainers, who share their experiences in open conversations and interactive sessions. Group discussions will give you an in-depth understanding of the real challenges facing startup and SME boards, and how you can best contribute to them.

Fee per participant: CHF 950. Admission is subject to a selection process. A special rate may apply for a limited number of startup founders.
