Meeting the challenge of a safer digital future
The rise of online media, social networking and teleworking has profoundly transformed the way we communicate. The digitization of exchanges and content - images, text and sound - has multiplied the exposure of our data, raising major issues in terms of security and confidentiality.
The aim of this call for projects is to explore new ideas and methods, study disruptive concepts and develop innovative technical solutions that promote trust, security and privacy in the multimedia field.
The program aims to encourage the development and support of Swiss solutions to meet these challenges, of which 3 are the most important:
- protection of privacy, i.e. guaranteeing the security of personal information while preserving the intellectual property of content - e.g. secure management of biometric data
2. securing communications, i.e. guaranteeing the authenticity and confidentiality of exchanges, particularly in the context of videoconferencing and the use of artificial intelligence technologies - e.g. protection of machine learning algorithms. the protection of machine learning algorithms
3. the fight against disinformation and the ability to authenticate content - e.g. the detection and analysis of content manipulation or voice spoofing.
Details & online application until February 7, 2025.
