The canton of Neuchâtel asks its population for their opinion on its digital strategy
The State of Neuchâtel is relying on its population to establish its digitalization strategy. To this end, the canton has opened a consultation via an online questionnaire.
The State of Neuchâtel is calling on its citizens to define its direction in terms of digitalization. In a press release, the canton announces that a questionnaire will be conducted during the summer of 2022. The population and various partners are being consulted as part of a "participative approach aimed at identifying visions, opportunities, as well as perceived fears and risks concerning digitalization", state the Neuchâtel authorities. In this way, they hope to bring about "human, inclusive and secure digitization at the service of its beneficiaries".
Already online, the short questionnaire focuses on the topic of e-government, with questions on the possible benefits of developing digital services for the cantonal administration, and on the fears they generate.
Unveiled last March, the 2022-2025 legislative program of the Neuchâtel Council of State gives pride of place to digitalization. For the cantonal authorities, a successful digital transformation should contribute to improving the canton's cohesion, attractiveness, efficiency and sustainable development. Martine Margairaz is in charge of steering the canton' s digital strategy. Delegate for the digitalization of the Canton of Neuchâtel, she will then take over as head of IT.
