Winners of the Fribourg Innovation Prize 2020/2021

Every two years, the Innovation Prize of the canton of Fribourg rewards the most innovative companies. Discover the 9 finalists and their profiles.

The 3 winners received their prizes on May 4, 2021 at a live broadcast ceremony at the Forum Fribourg: Ascenseurs Menétrey in Romont won the Prix Entreprise, while the Prix Start-up was awarded to GBY of Vuisternens-en-Ogoz following a public vote. The Sustainable Economy award, presented for the first time this year, went to the project presented by Bloom Biorenewables in Marly.

Organized by the Fribourg Economic Development Agency and the Cantonal Bank of Fribourg, under the patronage of the Department of the Economy and Employment, the Innovation Prize rewards companies that have bet on innovation and thus on the future. The ability of these companies to innovate is a key factor in the canton's economic and social development.

The Prix à l'innovation enables innovative companies to gain recognition in the canton of Fribourg and in Switzerland. For the winning teams, it's a chance to be recognized and rewarded for their hard work.
