A Las Vegas event without the show wouldn't be Vegas!

Once again, with 4,500 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors, CES, the world's largest trade show dedicated to technological innovation, was held from January 8 to 11. The 2019 edition was no exception to the rule of technological one-upmanship, with yet more glitter for all to see.

The entire digital ecosystem came together this year to discover the major trends and innovations to come. Here we take a look at some of the trends that have created a buzz in the world of HR technology, and which will enable the HR function to create value and move towards a more agile and disruptive role. 

A brief overview of the major trends and innovations in HR Technology

Ever dreamed of a Virtual Assistant? Google has done it! Not a place, not a moment without meeting the white elves of Google, on the CES pavilions... This technological application is capable of understanding very precisely the questions asked, answering them and making calls. Apple had Siri on its iPhones, now Google is available on Android, and in Switzerland since Tuesday January 15, following the announcement made at CES.

Would you like to be able to recruit international talent, but don't speak Chinese? Alibaba can help! The leading online retailer has unveiled a videoconferencing application with real-time translation displayed as subtitles on the screens. (Technology based on neural machine translation). The translation is perfect between an interlocutor who speaks Chinese and one who speaks English. For the moment, no other languages are supported! When can we expect more extensive translation in all languages, so that we can recruit in all countries?
