Idiap Create Challenge (ICC) 2025
The Idiap Create Challenge (ICC) 2025 is a 9-day hackathon dedicated to artificial intelligence, taking place from August 21 to 29, 2025 at the Idiap Research Institute in Martigny. Aimed at project leaders, students, researchers and anyone interested in turning an innovative idea into a working prototype, this event offers a framework for learning, coding and entrepreneurship around AI.

The aim of the ICC is to support projects demonstrating strong societal and economic potential in the fields of Human-AI Teaming, sustainable and resilient societies, AI for life and AI for all. You don't need to be an expert in coding; diverse profiles (technical, design, business) are welcome.
For start-ups and SMEs in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, this hackathon represents a unique opportunity to innovate and co-build AI prototypes, benefiting from Idiap's expertise and thus rapidly validating the viability of digital solutions. It's also an opportunity to benefit from personalized support (mentoring, legal workshops, pitch preparation), while perhaps having the chance to become the next winner of the CHF 50,000 "Leap Forward Prize".
