GIFF: call for immersive works

Join the selection for the 26th edition of GIFF, Nov. 6-15, 2020

Until August 28, 2020, the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) is inviting creators, producers and distributors to submit their immersive work (virtual, augmented and mixed reality) for its 26th edition, to be held from November 6 to 15, 2020.

Submitted works will be considered by GIFF programmers for selection and presentation at the 26th edition.

Works will be eligible for the International Immersive Works Competition, with a prize of CHF 10,000 offered by the City and State of Geneva and awarded by a jury of international experts, as well as for the Festival's convergent (out-of-competition) sections.

This year's GIFF will be paying particular attention to augmented reality, with a special focus on works produced for this medium.
