Future of Health Grant (FoGH) 2025: call for applications
Founded in 2022 by EPFL Innovation Park and CSS, the Future of Health Grant provides startups with the financial and operational support they need at every stage - from concept creation to market validation. In addition to financial support, the program offers access to a rich network of coaches, industry mentors and specialists who can strengthen the startup's team and propose practical, concrete solutions.

Life Science, HealthTech or Medtech: give your project a new dimension
The program focuses on practical, tailor-made support, thanks in particular to a unique network of partners (hospitals, insurers, universities and consultancies, among others) and skills that address the specific needs of each start-up to foster collaboration and innovation, and thus ensure tangible growth and value for money. The program fills the gaps for start-up teams, providing personalized support through structured meetings, clear milestones and ongoing guidance.
3 levels of financial support for start-ups & SMEs in the digital health sector
Grants are designed to provide financial assistance according to maturity level:
Concept - The " ignition " grant = 10'000 CHF
- Present your concept to a jury made up of CSS and EPFL Innovation Park representatives, innovation experts and Swiss healthcare providers, and receive CHF 10,000, without any equity or interest, to support and stimulate your business idea! 5 projects awarded per year.
MVP - The "POC" (Proof Of Concept) grant = CHF 30,000
- Present your start-up and your business plan to a jury of investors, corporate innovation managers and healthcare providers and receive CHF 30,000 without any equity or interest. This grant is there to help you develop your product, your prototype, by creating a POC. 5 start-ups awarded per year.
Last Stage - The " Validation " grant = 50'000 CHF
- Last step before accessing the CSS Corporate Venture Fund. Take the chance to be supported by Switzerland's number one basic insurance provider with a grant of CHF 50,000. This grant supports the development of a product or service validated by users or clinical trials. 3 start-ups awarded per year.
