On March 17 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., the Swiss Institute for Sustainable IT (ISIT-CH), through its IT4Future program, will offer a free webinar as part of the international initiative and 7th edition of Digital Cleanup Day.
The challenges of NR & the keys to getting started
Digital technology is often perceived as intangible, even magical, yet its environmental footprint is very real and continues to grow. ISIT-CH and IT4Future, which are working alongside organizations in French-speaking Switzerland to promote more responsible digital technology, will share their vision and practical advice on the challenges of digital responsibility, particularly for Swiss SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as concrete ideas and actions for getting started and establishing a roadmap, during this online workshop with Florian Revaz, director of ISIT-CH.
A second meeting will also be offered the following day, Wednesday, March 18, again online. During this express workshop on cleaning up your digital data, Céline Carle-Faye, co-founder of Resilio, will share tips on how to clean up your data (office files, photos, applications, etc.) and declutter your devices (computers, tablets, cell phones, etc.) in order to extend their lifespan.
