Should AI be regulated to protect businesses and consumers?

To mark the release of the book "Code IA", this event is organized by Manufacture Thinking, in collaboration with the Empowerment Foundation, Visium and alp ict. A copy of the book will be offered to all participants.

Artificial intelligence (AI) fascinates as much as it worries. This modern-day unknown is the stuff of fantasies. On the borderline between science fiction and augmented reality, AI is an enigma. Just think of a program that feeds on data and learns from it. But what about our protection in the face of risk, excessive surveillance, statistical bias, predictive manipulation and so on?

Conditions of participation

The event is free of charge, but registration is required and places are limited to 50 people.

Covid obliges, participation is only possible with a Covid Certificate. Registrants are asked to wear masks when presenting themselves at the reception desk, and to disinfect their hands on entering the room. The mask can be removed once in the room.
