AI for SMEs

January 27, 2026 - January 27, 2026
Gotham − Lausanne

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Gotham coworking space in Lausanne will host the event "AI for SMEs," organized by Innovaud. The goal of this meeting, aimed at Swiss SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland, is to help them understand artificial intelligence as a concrete lever for performance and innovation.

Details & online registration.

Artificial intelligence is not just for tech giants

Designed to demystify AI in an industrial and entrepreneurial context, "AI for SMEs" offers a pragmatic insight into the real-world uses of AI in business. The event will feature testimonials from executives who have already integrated intelligent solutions into their core processes, as well as a presentation of immediately applicable tools, chosen for their operational relevance.

On the program:

  • Inspiring feedback from SMEs that have successfully deployed AI projects
  • hands-on workshops led by specialized providers, allowing participants to test technologies and understand their practical potential
  • networking sessions to exchange ideas with peers, experts, and solution providers.

In a context where digitalization is becoming an essential criterion for competitiveness, this meeting offers SMEs a privileged setting to question their priorities, identify avenues for integrating AI, and consider pragmatic projects to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and strengthen their capacity for innovation.

Augmented Industry: 3 months to activate AI in your SME

This event is part of the broader "Augmented Industry: 3 months to activate AI in your SME – From idea to action plan" program, also supported by Innovaud. This intensive course is designed to help managers structure their thinking around AI, from identifying a use case to defining a concrete action plan.

Applications for the next cohort will officially open between late January and late March 2026, with the program scheduled to begin in April 2026.

AI & Data: Opportunities & Challenges for Swiss SMEs

While waiting to launch your AI strategy for 2026 through meetings and practical exchanges within the Innovaud ecosystem, you can now find concrete insights into AI uses and trends within the French-speaking Swiss economy.

In our November #TechTalk episode, three perspectives and three areas of expertise come together to build a joint initiative and bring to life concrete prospects for innovation, directly linked to the digital transformation of Swiss SMEs and powered by artificial intelligence technologies. Together, Alexandre Caboussat, Associate Professor and Head of Continuing Education at HEG Geneva, Jean Meneveau, Managing Partner at Colombus Consulting, and Yvan Cognasse, Senior Director at Oracle, have launched the Data & AI Observatory.

The idea is simple, but no less innovative. In contrast to globalized studies and analyses, this observatory seeks to provide a local frame of reference, rooted in the realities of Swiss companies, to shed light on their maturity, opportunities, and challenges related to data and artificial intelligence. Launched in 2024, the trio shares the results of its second edition with us, while guiding us through a critical reading of the main lessons that can be drawn from it.
