Anticipating the Legal Impacts of AI in the Workplace

The focus of this event is on understanding how artificial intelligence is reshaping workplace relationships and companies’ legal responsibilities. The discussions will address practical issues such as the role of algorithms in recruitment, the changing skill sets required, and the legal limits on the use of automated systems in human resources management.

The speakers will provide an in-depth analysis of current issues and will address topics such as:

  • How AI Works, with Maria Sokhn, Dean of the IDO (Institute for the Digitalization of Organizations) at HEG Arc
  • The World of Work in the Age of AI with Florence Guillaume, J.D. & Attorney
  • Digital Platforms and Their AI-Driven Labor Relationships with Aurélien Witzig, J.D. & Attorney
  • A presentation of Ref-Lex, the virtual labor law expert, with Roxane Zappella, Lawyer & Director of FER Neuchâtel

At a time when artificial intelligence promises productivity gains while raising unprecedented legal challenges, this event offers SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland a valuable opportunity to stay up to date, anticipate regulatory changes, and adopt compliant practices. It also enables participants to identify risks, better regulate the use of AI within the company, and ensure sound decision-making regarding human resources, at a time when the line between technological innovation and legal liability is becoming increasingly critical.
