Companies using AI: take part in the "Swiss AI Index" until July 31
The actual use and true impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in Swiss companies is unclear. To strengthen Switzerland's position in AI as a technology of the future, a systematic and measurable basis is needed for the status quo. This basis can be created by developing uniform AI standards that can be measured qualitatively and quantitatively.
To this end, Mindfire and W.I.R.E have launched the "Swiss AI Index" - a systematic approach to assessing the use of AI technologies in Switzerland. Swiss companies using AI are invited to participate in the "Swiss AI Index" and generate solid facts about current AI use. In return, companies will receive valuable information for making strategic decisions in their own businesses.
How is AI defined?
AI automates decisions that would otherwise require human intervention. More precisely, AI is a collective term for computer systems - encompassing fields such as machine learning, artificial neural networks, natural language processing or computer vision. AI predicts, makes recommendations or takes decisions that affect real or virtual environments for a given set of human-defined objectives.
Why and how can you take part?
Participating companies have the unique opportunity to have their company's use of AI assessed and evaluated in the context of their industry. In doing so, your company will form a basis for the creation of AI standards in Switzerland.
Participation is free and anonymous, and only a list of participating companies will be published. It takes around 40 minutes to complete the survey, and a further 30 minutes to create a best-practice use case. The use case can be anonymous or branded.
The deadline for entries is July 31, 2021. Please contact Dr Daniela Suter(daniela.suter@mindfire.global) to obtain your personal participation link.
